The Black Hawks JV opened their season with a hard fought battle against the Queen Creek Bulldogs. Although they led the entire first half, turn overs proved to be too much, and they fell behind by 10 points with five minutes left in the game. A spectacular kick-off return brought new life to the team, but the nightmare of turnovers continued. The final seconds brought a clock controversy, a safety score, and an end zone interception, as the clock expired.

Rosters will be posted this week, so please check back. The Varsity will scrimmage against Seton Catholic at Seton, Wednesday, August 17. Check the Events list for more details.

The 2011 Inner Team Scrimmage is Friday 12, 2011 at 5:00pm. Come out to see our Black Hawks in action, and meet the team. All levels will participate.
The Booster Club will be there, so please stop by and say Hi! We are still seeking Golf Tournament players, Team Meal volunteers, and help in the concession and apparel stands. Your support is crucial to the success of the Williams Field Football Program!
